Have you ever had the longing to step outside of your own comfort zone, with the confidence of succeeding...to simply try new things...to free yourself from the bondage of your own limiting beliefs?
Have you ever longed to simply become more of the true YOU who you came to this earth to be?
But...everytime you decided to take that step...or perhaps that leap...something inside of you stopped you in your tracks. That nagging voice which repeatedly whispers (or shouts)..."you'll never do it"..."you're not good enough"..."you're too scared".."you've never succeeded before, why should you now"...you're not worth it anyway"..."you don't deserve it"..."who do you think you are?"..."you never finish what you start, so why begin?"
Sound familiar?
And so you resolve to remain a prisoner of your past...a prisoner of that inner voice which thinks it knows who you are. True, one could say that it is the voice of experience, that of your subconscious mind which has formed it's opinions and beliefs as a result of all of your past experiences. Granted this part of you truly believes that it has your best interest in mind. It merely wants to keep you safe within the boundaries of that which is familiar to you. This terraine has been traveled extensively with paths well trodden...which seem to lead you nowhere except around in circles.
The thing is...we can make ourselves a success or we can make excuses...but we can't do both at the same time. So this is where we get to choose...to stay where we are in our small limited world...or to dare to venture out beyond our familiar boundaries...to dare to dream of new possibilities.
The fact is, Life simply "IS"...it is merely the meaning which we attach to any given circumstance which causes our pain. But strange as it may seem, this is truly the most beautiful part about it, because this means that the ball is in our court...and we can choose to do whatever we want with it...we can throw it out of bounds and into the bushes and have to go and struggle to find it...or we can hit it back over the net with ease and enjoy the game. So..just what if... we could quiet that voice and at the same time give it something more positive to say...something which is more in alignment with our own inner truth? What if...we could get in touch with the abounding source of power which resides within each and everyone of us, and set it free...like the genie out of the bottle...and allow it to transform the reality of our lives into an ever unfolding process of love and creativity? What if...we were free to consciously mirror the Divinity within all things...to become like children again, fearlessly walking the face of the earth...joyously manifesting abounding abundance?.... "Unless we become as children again, we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matt 18:2-4) So..just what if...we truly had the choice? I for one, know for a fact that we do...and I know what I choose....do you?
